De Kracht van de Tuinsteden

This year artist Pernille Lonstrup organizes “De Kracht van de Tuinsteden”, a project that is a combination of art, architecture and theatre. It’s Lonstrup’s goal to change the way inhabitants of the garden cities in Amsterdam as well as visitors of the project perceive the Amsterdam districts of Slotermeer, Slotervaart, Osdorp and Geuzenveld. The project consists of theatre workshops for and with the inhabitants of these garden cities, as well as an exhibition. “De Kracht van de Tuinsteden” takes place from May until August 2019.
In 2018 I edited Pernille Lonstrup’s funding applications for financing from the Mondriaan Fund (Mondriaan Fonds), the Amsterdams Fonds voor de Kunst and the Van Eesteren-Fluck & Van Lohuizen Stichting (which were granted). This year I’m responsible for the pr of the project.
